Effective morning routine ideas
1.Wake Up Early:
As much as some of us don’t like waking up early on mornings, waking up early gives you a head start on the day. This allows you to have more time during the day to tackle tasks with a fresh mind and minimal distractions. Start by gradually waking up early whether it is 30 minutes or an hour.
2. Hydrate:
Drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning can help kickstart your metabolism and rehydrate your body after a night’s rest. It is also said that your body absorbs water faster on an empty stomach.
3. Exercise:
Exercising when you wake up doesn’t mean going to the gym but can simply mean moving your body, whether it’s a walk, or yoga. This can boost your energy levels and improve your mood.
4. Healthy Breakfast:
Eating a balanced breakfast can provide the necessary nutrients and energy to keep you focused and energized throughout the day. As someone who always skipped breakfast, after starting my day with a healthy breakfast, I’ve seen the change in my energy levels and I’ve been able to maximize my productivity.
5. Mindfulness or Meditation:
Starting off your morning slowly instead of rushing has shown to be more effective. Whether it’s taking time to meditate or journal, this puts you in a better mood and sets a positive tone of your day. This practice allows you to be mindful and present before jumping into the hustle of your day.
6. Plan Your Day:
Planning your day is an essential part of my morning routine. This helps me stay organized throughout my day and keeps me focused on my priorities for the day.
7. Positive Affirmations:
Mornings are when your brain is most permeable, so this the best time to say affirmations and reinforce a positive mindset which will increase your overall confidence and self esteem. Show up being your best you and you can only do that if you feel your best!
8. Self Care and Appearance
Self care is the best way to start and end your day, whether it’s your skincare. Whether you’re doing your morning skincare, a full face of make up or choosing your cutest outfit, do things that will boost your self esteem and prepare you to face your day with confidence.
9. Limit Screen Time:
Avoid immediately reaching for your phone or computer. Instead, focus on your morning routine to start the day with clarity and intention.
